Guardian Sleeper® General Information
The Guardian Sleeper® was designed by two moms who struggled to keep their babies safe and comfortable at night. It is a one-piece cover and positioner that maintains a baby in the "Back to Sleep" position recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.
SIDS, Baby's Comfort and Roll Over Prevention
The Guardian Sleeper® has been hospital and SIDS institute tested. The design is intended to reduce the odds of baby dying from SIDS. It allows babies to remain covered no matter how hard they kick so that nothing can get close to their face, and the soft harness keeps the baby gently positioned away from the sides of the bassinet, crib or Pack ‘N’ Play/Original Co-Sleeper®.
The Guardian Sleeper® helps maintain a healthy body temperature throughout the night and this, along with the feeling of being snuggled, promotes increased sleep duration. For babies who get too hot or too cold, babies that can roll over onto their tummies, kick their covers off or over their heads or get into compromising positions such as a face against the bumper or a limb through the bars, the Guardian Sleeper® is a must.

The Guardian Sleeper® is now available in polar fleece, 100% cotton and an organic soy/cotton blend so you can keep your baby safe and comfortable no matter what the season or the temperature. Lightweight, washable and easy to pack, you can now have safety, peace of mind and more sleep at home or on your travels.
Guardian Sleeper® Bassinet Products
The Guardian Sleeper® Bassinet style is designed to fit a standard bassinet mattress approximately 18 inches wide and 1 inch deep. Like all Guardian Sleeper® products, the sleeper slides over the mattress (which should be covered with a fitted sheet) like a pillowcase so that it cannot be kicked off or over the baby’s head.
The baby is then snuggled in the soft harness which is attached to the underside of the sleeper cover, gently holding the baby in the Back to Sleep position and holding the cover in place. The Guardian Sleeper® Crib style is designed to fit a standard crib mattress approximately 28 inches wide and 6 inches deep. Like all Guardian Sleeper® products, the sleeper slides over the mattress (which should be covered with a fitted sheet) like a pillowcase so that it cannot be kicked off or over the baby’s head.
The baby is then snuggled in the soft harness which is attached to the underside of the sleeper cover, gently holding the baby in the "Back to Sleep" position and holding the cover in place. Like all Guardian Sleeper® products the sleeper slides over the mattress (which should be covered with a fitted sheet) like a pillowcase so that it cannot be kicked off or over the baby’s head.
